At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.2% compared to 2013, reaching 18.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Austria ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 17.1% in 2009).
