At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2013, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.7% compared to 2012, reaching 14.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.3%.

Germany ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.0% (from 14.9% in 2008).
