In 2015, Germany's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 2.0% compared to 2014, reaching 1,348,955.

Germany ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.6% (from 1,219,983 in 2010).
