Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2008, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.5% compared to 2007, reaching 25.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.1%.

Germany ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.8% (from 24.0% in 2003).
