Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2009, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.9% compared to 2008, reaching 26.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 23.9%.

Germany ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.0% (from 24.9% in 2004).
