Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2016, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 2.5% compared to 2015, reaching 28.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.1%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.2% (from 27.7% in 2011).
