Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2017, Germany's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.1% compared to 2016, reaching 28.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.9%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 28.2% in 2012).
