Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2021, Germany's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.1% compared to 2020, reaching 88.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 86.5%.

Germany ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.2% (from 88.3% in 2016).
