Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2021, France's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.5% compared to 2020, reaching 86.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 86.5%.

France ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 84.9% in 2016).
