At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2024, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.7% compared to 2023, reaching 19.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Greece ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 17.9% in 2019).
