At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Lithuania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.4% compared to 2023, reaching 21.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Lithuania ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.4% (from 20.6% in 2019).
