Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2020, Greece's population change increased by 1.3% compared to 2019, reaching 8.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1.

Greece ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.9% (from 8.5 in 2015).
