Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2020, Greece's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 31.9% compared to 2019, reaching 5.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Greece ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 385.5% (from 1.1% in 2015).
