Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Greece's main indicators decreased by 17.4% compared to 2020, reaching 4.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Greece ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 171.8% (from 1.6% in 2016).
