In 2023, Greece's population in private households by educational attainment level decreased by 2.3% compared to 2022, reaching 34.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 35.1%.

Greece ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.2% (from 31.7% in 2018).
