In 2021, Greece's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 4.2% compared to 2020, reaching 14.8.

Greece accounts for 89.2% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Greece ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.8% (from 13.6 in 2016).
