At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 35.7% compared to 2018, reaching 6.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Hungary ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 40.0% (from 4.5% in 2014).
