At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2024, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.1%.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 14.0% in 2020).
