At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.4% compared to 2019, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.5% (from 15.6% in 2015).
