At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.6% compared to 2019, reaching 13.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Austria ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 13.5% in 2015).
