Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2012, Hungary's population change increased by 3.4% compared to 2011, reaching 9.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.0.

Hungary ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.2% (from 9.7 in 2007).
