Cooling and heating degree days by country - annual data

In 2010, Hungary's cooling and heating degree days by country increased by 12.7% compared to 2009, reaching 2,963.

Hungary accounts for 83.8% of the EU-27 total of 3,535.

Hungary ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.0% (from 3,056 in 2005).
