Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1995, Hungary's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 1994, reaching 74.8.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 73.8 in 1990).
