Population structure indicators at national level

In 2002, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.3% compared to 2001, reaching 38.7.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 38.7.

Hungary ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.8% (from 38.0 in 1997).
