Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2023, reaching 44.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.7.

Hungary ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 43.0 in 2019).
