Population structure indicators at national level

In 2004, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2003, reaching 24.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 26.8.

Hungary ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 24.3 in 1999).
