Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Hungary's main indicators increased by 9.6% compared to 2019, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 22.0%.

Hungary ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.4% (from 14.5% in 2015).
