Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Austria's main indicators increased by 8.3% compared to 2019, reaching 36.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 22.0%.

Austria ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.1% (from 33.5% in 2015).
