Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Hungary's main indicators increased by 13.1% compared to 2022, reaching 17.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 24.6%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.4% (from 12.5% in 2018).
