Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2020, Hungary's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.1% compared to 2019, reaching 35.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.9%.

Hungary ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.0% (from 38.7% in 2015).
