Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Hungary's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 5.9% compared to 2020, reaching 33.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.9% (from 38.9% in 2016).
