Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2024, Hungary's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.9% compared to 2023, reaching 35.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.2%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 36.0% in 2019).
