Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2024, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 4.7% compared to 2023, reaching 28.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.2%.

Romania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.9% (from 26.6% in 2019).
