Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2025, Hungary's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.6% compared to 2024, reaching 31.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.9%.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.6% (from 27.1% in 2020).
