Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2024, Hungary's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.4% compared to 2023, reaching 31.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.1%.

Hungary ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.1% (from 25.9% in 2019).
