In 2024, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty threshold increased by 2.6% compared to 2023, reaching 13,438.

Hungary ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.9% (from 11,212 in 2019).
