In 2025, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty threshold increased by 6.8% compared to 2024, reaching 14,350.

Hungary ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.0% (from 10,868 in 2020).
