In 2014, Hungary's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 20.7% compared to 2013, reaching 29,883.

Hungary ranks 14th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.7% (from 37,698 in 2009).
