In 2014, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 17.2% compared to 2013, reaching 15,302.

Croatia ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.4% (from 17,080 in 2009).
