Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2013, Ireland's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 3.0% compared to 2012, reaching 78,431.

Ireland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 76,821 in 2008).
