Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Ireland's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.8% compared to 2006, reaching 32.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.9%.

Ireland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.3% (from 29.0% in 2002).
