Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Italy's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 3.5% compared to 2006, reaching 41.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 39.9%.

Italy ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 39.5% in 2002).
