Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2018, Ireland's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 0.9% compared to 2017, reaching 46.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 30.7%.

Ireland ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 42.6% in 2013).
