In 2024, Ireland's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households with at least one dependent child by work intensity increased by 81.2% compared to 2023, reaching 61.6.

Ireland accounts for 86.2% of the EU-27 total of 71.5.

Ireland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.0% (from 53.1 in 2019).
