At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2015, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.6% compared to 2014, reaching 19.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Italy ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.4% (from 18.7% in 2010).
