At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2015, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.2% compared to 2014, reaching 25.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.6% (from 21.6% in 2010).
