At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2013, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.8% compared to 2012, reaching 25.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Italy ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 24.2% in 2008).
