At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2000, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.6% compared to 1999, reaching 19.0%.

Italy ranks 6th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.5% (from 21.0% in 1995).
