Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Italy's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.6% compared to 2006, reaching 46.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 57.0%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.2% (from 41.9% in 2002).
