Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2007, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.7% compared to 2006, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 22.4%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.4% (from 10.2% in 2002).
